Power To Remand In Detention Or On Guarantee At Any Stage Of Proceedings
(1) In the course of examining evidence, the court
may, irrespective of the stage of the proceedings of a case, and in the
light of the circumstances of the case, remand the accused in
detention pursuant to Section 67 or demand a bail/bond, guarantee or
bank guarantee from the accused pursuant to Section 68; and nothing
shall be deemed to prevent the court from remanding the accused in
detention or demanding a bail/bond, guarantee or bank guarantee
from the accused subsequently by the reason only that the accused
